What’s New?

The Berkeley Food Pantry continues to rescue thousands of pounds of food from the waste stream each month! Our pantry visitors are the beneficiaries of this bounty - fresh produce, meat, dairy, and a full array of healthy shelf-stable foods. Thanks to Berkeley Natural Grocery, Albany Target, Gilman St. Berkeley Whole Foods, Franklin Brothers' Market, Thistle, and Daily Bread for making this food available to our pantry visitors. Learn more.

Visiting the Pantry

The Berkeley Food Pantry provides emergency groceries to Berkeley and Albany families and individuals in need. Read more about visiting the pantry.

Friends:  We offer food assistance by: 

1. In-Person Pick-Up at the Pantry: 

We are open for pickup. 

Please stay home if you are not feeling well. 

You are welcome to send another member of your household, neighbor, or friend to pick-up on your behalf if you cannot come in person during our hours and you don't qualify for home delivery.

2. Home Delivery is offered to disabled individuals, elderly individuals, families with children under 12, and households who must isolate due to Covid-19. Qualified households must have a physical home address in Berkeley or Albany. We will schedule delivery dates with you, and you must be present to receive the delivery.  Due to high demand, we can no longer accept applications lease call 510-525-2280 to request an application for home delivery.
