The Food Pantry operates under the 501(c)(3) status of the Berkeley Friends Church (EIN 94-6003752), and your donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
The Berkeley Food Pantry continues to rescue thousands of pounds of food from the waste stream each month! Our pantry visitors are the beneficiaries of this bounty - fresh produce, meat, dairy, and a full array of healthy shelf-stable foods. Thanks to Berkeley Natural Grocery, Albany Target, Gilman St. Berkeley Whole Foods, Franklin Brothers' Market, Thistle, and Daily Bread for making this food available to our pantry visitors. You are welcome to send another member of your household, neighbor, or friend to pick-up on your behalf if you cannot come in person during our hours and you don't qualify for home delivery.
